The photo of the pelican sitting on the post with poop running down the side is a photograph that I took a couple of years ago. The photo of the BP sign was photo merged with the pelican image in order to make an artistic statement depicting how the pelican must feel about BP and their insensitive remarks regarding the oil spill in the gulf.
